Senior Manager, IT – Direct Procurement & Acc Payable (PTP – SAP Functional)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States

Base salary: $120,800–$151,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Act as SAP solution architect and subject matter expert for Procure to Pay and Accounts Payable capabilities.
• Design and implement PTP solutions, including vendor payment processing and global banking integrations.
• Own the global PTP and Accounts Payable template and drive process standardization across the organization.
• Lead internal and external service provider teams through project implementation stages.
• Manage multiple global projects, demand management, capital requests, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Gather business requirements, develop functional specifications, manage test cases, and oversee end-to-end PTP application integration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading regional or global deployments of Procure to Pay SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA integrations.
• Deep knowledge of integration between SAP and non-SAP applications, including SAP DRC, SAP Integration Suite, SAP MDG, Ariba Suite, SAP Business Network, Saviynt, Snowflake, and Tableau.
• Experience with SAP Materials Management for direct and indirect procurement, contracts, purchase requisitions and orders, goods and invoice receipts, vendor master data, source lists, stock transport orders, and intercompany goods movement.
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and on-premises solutions, as well as electronic government invoice compliance mandates.
• Experience with OCR and invoice management solutions such as OpenText, SAP VIM, Basware, ReadSoft, Tungsten, and Ariba Suite.
• Strong communication, analytical, logical, prioritization, and complex problem-solving skills.
