Pay Portfolio Manager

Location: Strongsville, OH, USA; full-time onsite position

What you will do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial card and automated payables clients.
• Develop account plans focused on portfolio optimization, client retention, supplier payments, AP automation adoption, and rebate generation.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for finance, treasury, accounts payable, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
• Conduct business reviews, analyze payment activity and portfolio metrics, and recommend improvements to working capital and payment efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for product adoption, workflow improvements, expanded commercial card usage, and referral generation.
• Partner with underwriting, onboarding, implementation, and sales teams to resolve complex issues and support client success.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial payments, treasury management, commercial cards, AP automation, banking, fintech, or related financial services.
• Experience managing client relationships and driving portfolio or revenue growth.
• Strong analytical, financial, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret data and provide strategic, actionable client recommendations.
• Experience with commercial card programs, virtual cards, automated payables, or AP automation solutions.
• Knowledge of accounts payable workflows, treasury management services, and middle-market or commercial banking clients.
