Data Analyst / Applied Mathematician (Python/Matlab)

Location: Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania, United States; no remote or telework allowed

What you will do

• Conduct technical analysis to support customer decisions and optimize the performance of large, complex systems.
• Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models for detailed technical analysis.
• Review system performance specifications and verify that simulations accurately evaluate required performance.
• Evaluate and interpret analysis results, identify system issues, and recommend courses of action.
• Present findings and recommendations to customers during technical meetings and briefings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, image science, or a similar technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Competence or experience with one or more of Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical briefing skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
