Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with Department of Defense and U.S. Space Force policies.
• Draft program acquisition point papers, briefings, articles, press releases, and responses to congressional, headquarters, and media requests for information.
• Create communication plans and products for space development programs and launch campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Use Task Management Tool and Microsoft Office applications to initiate, track, and close taskers across directorate, Space Systems Command, and Space Force organizations.
• Assemble and provide guidance on electronic Staff Summary Sheet packages.
• Support high-level meetings, advise leadership on deliverables, and coordinate communication with offices across the DoD and Space Force.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance required.
• At least 15 years of experience in federal government acquisition, including work with DoD, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or NASA programs.
• Master’s degree in business, management, economics, science, technology, engineering, or statistics required; a bachelor’s degree is also required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• At least five years of recent experience in space programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, or the sciences.
