Principal Software Engineer (Automation)

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; may telecommute and requires 10% travel to unanticipated worksites nationally.

Annual salary: $153,130–$181,766, plus potential bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and scaling of enterprise automation solutions.
• Build automations with RPA, scripting, APIs, cloud-native technologies, cognitive technologies, and integration platforms.
• Translate business processes and automation opportunities into requirements and technical designs.
• Facilitate client workshops to understand business processes, system data, and process metrics.
• Collaborate with DTI partners, automation architects, and business functions to deliver solutions for internal users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the offered role or a technology-related occupation.
• Five years of experience with RPA technologies such as Blue Prism, UiPath, or Power Automate.
• Experience with AWS services, DevOps CI/CD tools, Docker, microservices, APIs, SQL, and database concepts.
• Experience with Python, C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, SOAP services, SQL Server, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience applying machine learning, OCR, NLP, Agile SAFe, Program Increment, and Agile Release Train practices.
