Senior Director, Humanoid / Robotics Strategic Marketing (Robotics)

Location: San Jose, California, United States

Base pay range: $295,000 annually, plus potential variable or incentive compensation and equity.

What you will do

• Define and execute market strategy for humanoid robots, cobots, adjacent autonomous mobile robots, and Physical AI at the edge.
• Build market segmentation, TAM/SAM models, competitive positioning, market requirements, solution narratives, application briefs, and value propositions.
• Identify and pursue high-leverage design-win opportunities with humanoid startups, cobot leaders, and Tier 1 automation companies.
• Define differentiated robotics solutions spanning sensor aggregation, pre-processing, motor-control interfaces, safety, security, real-time connectivity, and on-device inference.
• Position Tiny AI use cases including always-on perception, anomaly detection, sensor fusion, and real-time decision-making within milliwatt power budgets.
• Develop strategic partnerships with GPU/NPU, sensor, camera-module, motor-control, and companion-chip providers, and represent Lattice at industry forums and standards discussions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, or technology, including 6+ years in senior segment marketing, business development, or product strategy.
• Hands-on experience in humanoid robotics, collaborative robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, or closely adjacent fields.
• Demonstrated success building market positions, developing solution narratives, and driving adoption at flagship design-win accounts.
• Working knowledge of FPGA and programmable-logic trade-offs versus MCUs, ASICs, and NPUs in edge AI and control applications.
• Understanding of on-device inference, quantization, inference latency, and ultra-low-power AI at the edge, plus executive-level communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline; candidates must provide satisfactory proof of the right to work in the United States.
