Senior Staff Specialist Regional Marketing (Embedded Semiconductors)

Location: La Jolla, California; onsite role with remote work unavailable

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 annual pay, plus bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategy for the MCU, MPU, and connectivity portfolio.
• Identify high-potential customers, create demand, support design wins, and manage the design-in to design-win pipeline.
• Build relationships with key customers, distributors, design houses, and other local partners.
• Customize product collateral, train sales teams and partners, and develop the ecosystem around evaluation boards, IDE support, and software libraries.
• Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitors, pricing, and opportunities across IoT, industrial automation, consumer electronics, automotive, and communications applications.
• Represent regional requirements to global teams and influence future product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductors, embedded systems, or related industries.
• 5+ years of experience in product marketing or product line management.
• Experience in strategic or technical marketing, business development, applications, P&L management, supply chain, or cost management.
• Understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor architectures, including ARM Cortex and RISC-V.
• Understanding of WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, embedded software ecosystems, semiconductor cost structures, wafer economics, and supply chain dynamics.
