HR Manager

Location: Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Manage the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, manpower planning, compensation and benefits, employee relations, career development, performance management, training, and retention.
• Advise management and employees on employment law, HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Handle industrial relations, counselling, disciplinary actions, employee claims, overtime, and allowance approvals.
• Oversee accurate and timely monthly payroll processing and support remuneration and benefits programs.
• Develop and implement manpower, learning and development, talent retention, and employee engagement strategies.
• Provide HR orientation and training on HR system implementation and improvements, while liaising with government authorities and statutory bodies on compliance.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in full-spectrum human resources.
• Familiarity with HR functions and execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Fluent English in both oral and written communication.
• Strong communication skills and interest in working with people.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an energetic team.
