People Consultant - French Speaking

Location: Hybrid role based in Cork, Ireland or Paris, France, with some level of in-office and/or in-person expectations.

What you will do

• Coach managers and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, company policies, culture, and values.
• Triage employee relations matters and help resolve sensitive workplace issues that do not require formal investigation.
• Partner with Legal on formal investigation close-outs and ensure follow-up coaching and actions are completed effectively.
• Support managers with documented coaching and performance improvement plans, balancing compliance, fairness, employee experience, and business needs.
• Work with HR Operations on complex employee- and manager-generated processes and transactions.
• Build relationships across employees, people leaders, HR, Legal, and other cross-functional teams while contributing to HR projects and programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in employee relations, HR generalist, or HR business partner roles.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employment standards, legislation, and employee relations best practices.
• Experience resolving complex, unique, and highly sensitive employment-related issues.
• Ability to advise diverse stakeholders while balancing legal compliance and business needs.
• Strong influencing, judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
• Business fluency in French is preferred.
