develops software and hardware for electric vehicle charging and operates across multiple markets from its Singapore headquarters and global operating hubs.
What you will do
- Own consolidated financial reporting, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and the control framework across the group.
- Design and maintain transfer pricing and intercompany structures covering management charges, IP licensing, services, and cost-sharing arrangements across Singapore, the UK, and other jurisdictions.
- Lead group tax strategy and compliance, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, Singapore incentive schemes, UK corporation tax, and Pillar Two considerations.
- Build the treasury function from scratch, covering cash-flow forecasting, liquidity, banking relationships, working capital, and FX risk across GBP, SGD, USD, and EUR.
- Partner with the CEO and CIO on capital allocation while managing the cash pipeline, liquidity buffers, and compliant transfer of funds to the Singapore-based Phalanx investment platform.
- Oversee finance operations, payroll, statutory audits, accounting systems, financial controls, and the development of the finance team.
Requirements
- Must be based in Singapore or eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
- 10–18 years of progressive finance experience with a track record in at least two of technology or hardware finance leadership, asset or portfolio management, and cross-border corporate structuring.
- Experience with Singapore-centred multi-entity groups, ideally involving Singapore and the UK or a comparable cross-border structure.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Experience building a finance function in a scaling company and operating across reporting, planning, tax, treasury, controls, and systems.
- Working knowledge of institutional asset management, Singapore regulatory and licensing requirements, and potential MAS considerations.
Nice to have
- CFA charter or MBA with a finance concentration.
- Background in a family office, hedge fund, sovereign wealth fund, or asset management firm.
- Experience with Singapore incentive schemes such as the Global Trader Programme, Financial Sector Incentive, or Pioneer Certificate.
