What you will do

• Lead consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, and long-range planning across UK and Singapore entities.
• Design and maintain a transfer pricing framework ensuring compliance with HMRC (UK) and IRAS (Singapore) guidelines.
• Own the group's tax strategy to optimize the effective tax rate and ensure VAT/GST compliance across operating markets.
• Establish the group treasury function, managing cash flow, liquidity, and FX risk across GBP, SGD, USD, and EUR.
• Collaborate with the CEO and CIO to define capital allocation and manage the cash pipeline for the Phalanx investment platform.
• Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including payroll, statutory audits, and ERP system implementation.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of progressive finance experience.
• Proven track record in tech/hardware finance leadership, asset management, or cross-border corporate structuring (ideally UK-Singapore).
• Based in Singapore or eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Deep familiarity with the Singaporean regulatory, tax, and financial services landscape.

Nice to have

• CFA charter or MBA with a finance concentration.
• Experience as the first senior finance hire in a scaling company, building the function from the ground up.
