Mechanical Engineering Co-op (CAD/Medical Devices)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States; onsite role.

Hourly pay: $20.00–$24.00.

What you will do

• Create new product designs and modify existing designs using CAD.
• Develop CAD assemblies and models from concept sketches.
• Conduct studies and geometry comparisons to confirm the form and fit of revised designs.
• Execute product testing plans to verify new product designs.

Requirements

• High school diploma and active enrollment in the cooperative education program of an accredited university pursuing mechanical engineering.
• Training in CAD modeling and assembly.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to perform the listed physical requirements, including frequent repetitive motions and occasional standing, walking, talking, and hearing.

Nice to have

• Experience building parts and assemblies using 3D printers.
