Co-op Engineering R&D

Location: Skaneateles, NY, United States; flexible workplace policy with a required minimum number of onsite days.

Salary: $26.00–$28.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support project teams in building and operating prototypes and test systems for new products at module, integration, and system levels under the direction of a Test Engineer.
• Create prototypes, test protocols, and bench test setups.
• Create and validate test systems for design verification.
• Document and maintain test records according to formal test processes and Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and design reviews.
• Troubleshoot problems and participate in root cause investigations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting and manage time independently.
• Ability to understand specification documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use test equipment and implement detailed test protocols.
• Ability to multitask under moderate pressure and willingness to learn new applications.
• Some experience creating detailed, clear, and complete documentation and records.
• First-time Co-ops and candidates with previous experience are considered.
