Principal Incident Response Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Execute the enterprise-wide Incident Response Plan and recommend enhancements to improve security.
• Monitor security breaches and initiate incident and response management processes.
• Implement security service audit schedules, review access authorization, and perform access control testing.
• Develop automated scripts, contingency plans, and programmed responses for detected attacks.
• Collaborate with information security architects, engineers, and software or hardware stakeholders on enterprise remediation.
• Integrate third-party attack monitoring and threat reporting services with internal CIRT communications systems, and present recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of related experience with deep functional and organization-specific knowledge.
• Knowledge of threat actor tools, techniques, and processes and indicators of compromise.
• Experience with endpoint protection and enterprise detection and response software such as CrowdStrike or Carbon Black.
• Knowledge of network and infrastructure technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Advanced analytical, judgment, communication, independent-working, and project management skills.
