Pharmacy Tech Sam's Full-Time

Location: Onsite at Sam's Club, 950 N University Dr, Coral Springs, Florida 33071, United States

Hourly wage: $18.50–$26.50 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Process member purchases using cash registers and appropriate payment procedures.
• Enter prescription data, create or update patient records, and support prescription orders.
• Fill prescriptions by counting, measuring, mixing, labeling, and using scanning or automated dispensing equipment.
• Process third-party insurance claims and resolve prescription fulfillment issues, including out-of-stock items, partial fills, and refill authorizations.
• Assist members at prescription pickup, verify required information, collect signatures, and log restricted pharmaceutical sales.
• Maintain pharmacy merchandise, documentation, safety standards, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• Meet all applicable state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including age, qualification, registration, certification, or licensure requirements where applicable.
• Obtain national Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB/PTCE or NHA/ExCPT within nine months of joining.
• Accurately handle prescriptions, patient information, insurance claims, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
• Follow company policies, ethical standards, safety procedures, and applicable pharmacy laws.
