Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, Data Center Build and Design (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Remote within the United States, with regular travel to assigned construction sites at least monthly and extended on-site presence during energization and commissioning. Estimated travel is 30–40%. Candidates near Las Vegas or Richmond hubs are preferred. Employment requires authorization to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Own the thirteen-gate delivery framework for large data center campuses and active data halls, from site qualification through revenue service.
• Lead a team of four to eight technical program managers, including hiring, capacity planning, performance calibration, onboarding, and career development.
• Manage integrated master schedules, critical paths, gate milestones, design dependencies, long-lead procurement, and fit-out sequencing.
• Hold general contractors, colocation partners, landlords, and vendors accountable for scope, schedule, readiness, and deliverable quality.
• Resolve high-priority delivery blockers, drive decisions, and document recovery plans for executive leadership.
• Measure gate and site cycle times and improve the delivery playbook across successive deployments.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of technical program management or delivery leadership experience, including 2–3 years of people management.
• Direct ownership of multi-site or large multi-phase data center design and construction delivery through commissioning and operations.
• Experience running or materially rebuilding stage-gate governance with written entry criteria and decision records.
• Fluency in Primavera P6 or equivalent schedule logic, critical path analysis, risk registers, and decision logs.
• Working knowledge of data center power, UPS, switchgear, PDU, busway, cooling, liquid cooling, structured cabling, fiber, and commissioning from factory acceptance through integrated systems testing.
• Ability to influence engineering teams, contractors, and vendors without direct authority and build a strong program management team.

Nice to have

• CDCDP, CDCP, or equivalent data center certification.
• Experience with high-density AI infrastructure, direct liquid cooling, GPU cloud, hyperscale, or hypergrowth environments.
• Experience with greenfield and colocation deployments, landlord interfaces, and program management function setup.
• Familiarity with GPU cluster deployment, network fabric bring-up, node burn-in, and validation testing.
