Accounting Specialist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Post and process accounting transactions accurately and on time.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger and bank accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting documentation for management review.
• Communicate with accounting staff, departments, vendors, financial institutions, and other external parties to resolve accounting issues.
• Cross-train and provide backup support for other accounting and administrative functions.
• Support financial operations while maintaining compliance with company policies, manufacturer requirements, and GAAP.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of transactions and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, plus strong typing and 10-key skills.
