What you will do

• Lead accounting operations for two dealership locations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, OEM reports, composite reports, and required surveys in accordance with GAAP and manufacturer requirements.
• Oversee internal controls, regulatory compliance, tax requirements, audits, licensing, and risk management.
• Manage vehicle floorplan financing, daily cash positions, working capital, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and curtailments.
• Analyze departmental expenses, gross profit, operational efficiency, and profitability improvement opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams while partnering with general managers and executive leadership on budgets, forecasts, acquisitions, integrations, and system implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of dealership financial statements and OEM reporting.
• Experience with dealer management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong financial acumen, leadership, analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple dealership locations.
• Multi-store dealership accounting experience.
