Process Engineering Manager (Cable Production)

What you will do

• Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Lead technology improvement and innovation initiatives in production environments.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing tools and other process improvement techniques to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Coordinate production process improvement projects, including goals, schedules, resources, risks, and changes.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to implement production technology updates.
• Maintain quality standards and compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in cable production, process engineering, process optimization, or production project management.
• Higher education in engineering, preferably process engineering or chemical engineering/metal forming.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience analyzing data, identifying problems, implementing improvements, and managing a team.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Valid Portuguese residence permit or work visa, Portuguese NIF, and Portuguese NISS required. A valid driver's license and ability to undertake international travel are also required.
