Compliance Technician

What you will do

• Monitor regulatory developments in assigned states and prepare weekly compliance research reports.
• Process complaints and inquiries according to established procedures.
• Prepare documents for TPA licensing, annual reporting, license renewals, rate increase filings, and regulatory submissions through SERFF or paper processes.
• Respond to regulatory and market conduct examination requests and support dispute resolution and litigation documentation.
• Maintain electronic records of filings, reports, complaints, and audits for multiple clients.
• Research potential OFAC alerts, coordinate with operations teams, and support client year-end data requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or FLMI designation.
• 2–5 years of health or life insurance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, documentation, research, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work punctually and dependably in Clearwater, Florida.
• An agent license may be held, but active appointments are not required.
