Senior Cluster Manager, Games Family Venue Operations

Location: Onsite in the Downtown Los Angeles office, Los Angeles, California, United States. Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event periods. LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.

Annual base salary: $105,000–$140,000.

LA28 is an independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee responsible for delivering the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

What you will do

• Lead Games Family Services operations across multiple LA28 competition venue clusters.
• Develop, adjust, and apply Games Family policies, procedures, plans, and venue operations.
• Coordinate with venue management, security, event services, transportation, and other functional teams.
• Select, train, mentor, support, and supervise Games Family Venue Managers and venue-based volunteers.
• Manage Games Family operations at events taking place before the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
• Deliver presentations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Olympic Family representatives and international partners.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in an international, large-event, or multi-sport Games environment.
• At least 5 years of direct people management experience, including oversight of full-time staff, contractors, or teams of 10 or more volunteers.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or multi-department initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale projects or events from planning through execution.
• Experience working with external stakeholders such as government agencies, sponsors, or international partners.
• Recognized post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field and oral and written fluency in English.
