Junior Financial Analyst (U.S. Air Force)

What you will do

• Support budget execution, financial reporting, and expenditure tracking for U.S. Air Force programs.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial records, budget documents, and supporting documentation.
• Forecast spending and manage Unliquidated Obligations and reimbursable funds.
• Perform contract reconciliation and closeout activities.
• Prepare for and support financial audits while collaborating with government agencies and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of combined industry and government acquisition experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, science, technology, engineering, or statistics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong verbal communication, writing, quantitative analysis, and teamwork skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain the required security clearance.
• Ability to learn U.S. Air Force financial management processes, accounting and payment systems, and reimbursable funds management.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD financial systems such as SAFES, CRIS, CCaR, ABSS, SDW/EDA, and MOCAS.
• Knowledge of DoD program management execution support.
• Experience with the Comprehensive Cost and Requirements system.
