(Fixed Term) Laboratory Technician, Clinical Biomarker Laboratory, Immunoassay

Location: Oxford, England, United Kingdom. This is a site-based role requiring full-time on-site attendance and is not eligible for remote work.

What you will do

• Execute immunoassay development, qualification, validation, and clinical sample testing for clinical trials.
• Analyze assay samples and deliver accurate, high-quality bioanalytical data within defined timelines.
• Prepare laboratory experiments, including media, chemicals, and reagents, while maintaining accurate batch records.
• Maintain laboratory spaces and support equipment maintenance and operational excellence.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues, escalating matters to study or scientific leads when needed.
• Draft or review bioanalytical plans, reports, and standard operating procedures, while following safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences with laboratory experience.
• Independence, strong work ethic, and effective written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good computational skills, preferably including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GraphPad Prism.
• Knowledge of regulated environments such as GCP and ISO standards is preferred.
• Experience with LIMS systems is preferred.
• Ability to work full-time at the hirify.global site in Oxford; remote work is not available.
