Chemistry Analyst (Life Sciences)

Location: Livingston, United Kingdom; full-time on-site role. Working hours are 09:00–17:15 on four days and 09:00–17:30 on one day.

What you will do

• Perform chemistry testing and method verification.
• Support the operation and development of the Chemistry department.
• Manage chemistry materials, laboratory glassware, waste, and log books.
• Perform inter-company support and LabGuard activities.
• Write exceptions and support CAPA activities.
• Support equipment calibration, qualification, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in a Chemistry role and/or within a GMP- or GLP-regulated environment.
• Good understanding of GMP.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Competent, communicative, methodical, positive, and quality-conscious approach to work.
• Willingness to learn and a tenacious approach to work.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Degree in life sciences.
• Experience with Pharmacopeia testing.
