Sr. SAP AR & Cash Application Engineer (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Warsaw, Poland. The role follows a 70/30 work model with significant in-office collaboration.

What you will do

• Own and evolve global SAP S/4HANA Accounts Receivable, cash application, credit management, dispute and collections, and bank accounting processes.
• Configure open-item management, lockbox, electronic bank statements, posting rules, clearing logic, workflows, house banks, and reconciliation structures.
• Lead integrations with global banking platforms using ISO 20022 formats, as well as eCommerce systems, EDI frameworks, Stripe, PayPal, and other payment service providers.
• Implement global government e-invoicing solutions and integrate SAP with providers such as Edicom and Dun & Bradstreet.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and lead UNIT, SIT, and UAT testing cycles.
• Drive continuous improvement through AI, machine learning, RPA, automation, SOX controls, documentation, training, and global rollouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FI-AR, Bank Accounting, and Credit Management.
• Strong expertise in AR configuration, incoming payments, lockbox, electronic bank statements, cash application, clearing rules, and reconciliations.
• Experience with SAP Credit Management/FSCM, ISO 20022/SWIFT integrations, dunning, dispute management, government e-invoicing, SAP BTP, and D&B.
• Knowledge of EDI transactions including INVOIC, REMADV, and PAYEXT, plus SAP integrations with eCommerce and payment platforms.
• Strong understanding of O2C/RTR processes, controls, automation, cross-functional leadership, and problem solving. Applications and resumes must be submitted in English.

• SAP S/4HANA Finance or FSCM certification.
• Experience with AI/ML cash application solutions and large-scale commercial platform integrations.
