Health & Safety Manager

Location: Bogotá, Colombia; onsite support for a 12-story office facility

hirify.global operates customer support and corporate services, with this role supporting health, safety, and wellbeing across its Bogotá operations.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Colombian SG-SST and annual Health & Safety strategy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, maintain required documentation and records, and liaise with ARL, government agencies, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage office and call-center safety risks, including ergonomics, indoor air quality, electrical safety, contractor activities, visitor safety, and workplace wellness.
• Lead emergency preparedness across all 12 floors, including fire prevention, evacuation planning, emergency response teams, crisis management, medical emergencies, and workplace violence response.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, track corrective actions, and report safety trends and findings to leadership.
• Build dashboards and deliver KPI reviews while using AI, digital tools, Lean methodologies, and safety analytics for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Colombian Occupational Health & Safety Professional License required.
• At least 5 years of progressive Health & Safety experience, including SG-SST management in large office or corporate environments.
• Fluent Spanish and English required.
• Experience leading emergency preparedness programs, conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses, and applying Colombian occupational safety legislation.
• Strong presentation, leadership, partnership, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate specialization in Occupational Health & Safety.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification and 50-hour SG-SST certification.
• Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, office ergonomics, or Project Management experience.
• AI proficiency for business applications and experience supporting contact centers or BPO operations.
