KYC/AML Analyst

What you will do

• Conduct KYC, CDD, and EDD reviews for clients, counterparties, and vendors across APAC offices.
• Perform client risk assessments and sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening throughout the client lifecycle.
• Analyse complex ownership and control structures involving financial institutions, brokers, funds, and trading counterparties.
• Identify and escalate AML, sanctions, and reputational risks.
• Maintain accurate KYC records and ensure timely completion of onboarding workflows.
• Support transaction-related KYC queries, AML/CTF projects, regulatory requests, audits, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a KYC/AML role with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong SFC AML/CTF requirements and client due diligence principles.
• Experience reviewing corporate structures and complex financial institutions.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
