Senior Associate, Investment Operations – Private (Private Credit)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States

Base salary: $145,000–$165,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Support private credit deal closings, fundings, asset setup, investment monitoring, and post-close administration.
• Coordinate deal activity and reporting with investment professionals, legal and compliance, accounting and tax, technology, and reporting teams.
• Review credit agreements and fee letters to identify critical transaction terms, data points, and operational requirements.
• Manage relationships with banks, custodians, facilities, rating agencies, co-investors, auditors, and other counterparties.
• Document and maintain operational policies, procedures, controls, and private credit deal records.
• Identify process bottlenecks and support automation and longer-term systems improvements.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of relevant operations experience at an asset manager, investment bank, or financial services company.
• At least 1 year of private credit investment operations or middle-office experience, including private credit document review.
• Strong knowledge of private credit fund concepts, corporate direct lending, finance, process documentation, and cross-functional operations.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the position; a master’s degree is a plus.
