Lead Program Financial Analyst (Aerospace)

Salary: $94,700–$126,300 per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead quarterly Estimate at Completion and Estimate to Complete forecasts for assigned programs.
• Analyze cost performance, schedule impacts, program variances, and financial data integrity.
• Assess the financial impact of program changes, milestone shifts, and contract modifications.
• Maintain forecasts for unbilled receivables and deferred revenue to support accurate revenue recognition.
• Present program performance, variance explanations, risk assessments, and recommendations to program management and senior leadership.
• Support ad hoc analyses involving stop-work notifications, contract terminations, and cost impact studies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Program Financial Analyst in the defense or aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of government financial regulations and compliance, including FAR, DFARS, and EVMS.
• Experience developing forecasts, managing large datasets, and performing detailed variance and cost analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint, SAP, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clarita, California.
