2027 BOLT Intern – CO2 (Petroleum Engineering)

What you will do

• Support reservoir evaluation, including subsurface formation analysis, fluid-flow assessment, injection and production mass balance, aquifer performance, decline-curve analysis, and CO2 or waterflood EOR methods.
• Provide onsite field engineering support for production operations, including horizontal drilling, workovers, recompletions, stimulation candidates, well changes, wellwork procedures, and production optimization.
• Support gas plant operations through process-system modeling, plant-process optimization, equipment troubleshooting, and development of solutions to equipment problems.
• Analyze and design piping, infrastructure, equipment, process systems, and safety systems for facility projects.
• Prepare project cost estimates, authority-for-expenditure documentation, drawings, and other project documentation.
• Track project costs and supervise work crews, rig work, and other onsite activities while identifying and correcting safety or environmental concerns.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in petroleum, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, follow direction, maintain required work schedules, and follow work rules.
• Self-starter with a strong drive for results and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work onsite in the listed Texas locations.
