Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js)

Location: Remote from Switzerland

What you will do

• Architect and ship backend services for live messaging, automations, and customer support tooling.
• Design APIs and connect prototype features to production systems.
• Optimize MongoDB schemas, indexes, aggregations, and query performance using production data.
• Deploy and operate services on GCP, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and IAM.
• Own features end-to-end, from implementation through release and iteration.
• Work directly with the CEO in a fast-moving product development environment.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience shipping production services with Node.js.
• Deep MongoDB knowledge, including schema design, indexing, aggregation, and performance tuning.
• Practical GCP experience with Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and IAM.
• Working experience with VueJS.
• Fluency with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and agentic workflows.
• Clear written English and the ability to work remotely from Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time systems, WebSockets, queues, or pub/sub.
• Background in customer support, chat, or communication platforms.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, or observability tooling.
