(USA) Quality Assurance/Systems Manager (Grocery)

Location: Wintersville, Ohio, United States; onsite at the grocery logistics facility

Salary: $84,000–$126,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock or regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Drive the business plan for the assigned area and implement operational improvements in production quality, safety, workload, and performance.
• Prepare and analyze business reports to identify improvements and monitor compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards.
• Supervise and develop associates, leaders, and managers through direction, performance feedback, coaching, training, hiring, promotion, and evaluation.
• Oversee QA procedures supporting building efficiency and inventory integrity, including corrective actions, slot profiling, inventory adjustments, cycle inventory tests, damages, strays, and product tracking.
• Oversee systems operations, including hardware and software maintenance, installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and coordination with corporate information systems, vendors, and logistics systems managers.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using independent judgment and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in management, logistics, business administration, finance, production, or operations management, plus relevant operations or logistics experience; or an equivalent Walmart logistics management path.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers, supervisors, or associates across multiple departments or areas.
• Experience managing workload and participating in employee hiring and promotion.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, compliance, inventory integrity, and logistics systems standards.

Nice to have

• Distribution, inventory management, logistics, operations, financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or P&L accountability experience.
• Experience with recruiting, associate supervision, training and development, or Walmart Logistics Systems.
• Academic background in business, finance, logistics, management, or operations management.
