Software Developer (Fullstack)

Leidos provides software development and mission support for NASA’s National Security Systems team.

What you will do

• Maintain and develop web portals and applications supporting case management and NSS team-site workflows.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications and systems.
• Assess and validate software requirements and provide architectural and web development support.
• Redesign applications to add features, optimize scalability, and improve performance and stability.
• Provide operations, maintenance, content management, application, and server management support.
• Collaborate with the project manager, development team, information system security manager, and sponsor project manager; provide occasional on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Full-stack development experience, including software deployment and maintenance.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET Framework, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Vue.js, JavaScript, Bootstrap, SQL Server, SQL scripting, Git, IIS, and Microsoft Visual Studio web projects.
• Knowledge of virtual architectures, Windows-based applications, web development, HTML, software design patterns, object-oriented development, and test-driven development.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active Secret clearance is required; Top Secret clearance is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with customer applications at the Huntsville location, including case management and work process management systems.
• UI/UX expertise and experience with CSS frameworks such as Material and Bootstrap.
• Expertise in software design patterns and development best practices.
