Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Onsite role with a hybrid schedule from the Bethesda, MD or Salt Lake City, UT office

Salary: $80,000–$180,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Plan code and design features for products used by companies, brokers, payroll providers, and insurance carriers.
• Define features and implementation approaches for loosely defined problems.
• Build and maintain web products, enrollment-engine capabilities, and data-intensive or message-handling features.
• Design web service APIs and develop scalable, readable code.
• Review teammates' code and coach coding and design techniques.
• Collaborate with product owners, executives, DevOps Engineers, and Front-End Engineers to deliver features and improve tooling and pipelines.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a full-stack development role.
• In-depth knowledge of C# and .NET Core.
• JavaScript knowledge and experience developing web applications.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make sound technical decisions for loosely defined features.
• Ability to work onsite on a hybrid schedule from the Bethesda or Salt Lake City office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js.
