Manager, Patient Registration - Full Time

Location: Nashua, NH, United States; hybrid work with on-site presence required based on operational needs and manager approval. Full-time on-site shift: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, schedule, and support Patient Registration staff across all shifts and hospital departments.
• Oversee accurate and timely patient registration, consent completion, payment collection, documentation, and registration quality.
• Monitor collection performance, audit cash-control compliance, provide coaching, and manage employee evaluations and corrective actions.
• Partner with clinical and revenue cycle leaders to resolve operational and system issues and improve registration workflows.
• Oversee contracted vendor activities related to Medicaid eligibility, enrollment assistance, marketplace enrollment, and collections.
• Maintain compliance with EMTALA, CMS regulations, payer requirements, emergency preparedness, and registration best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Five to seven years of hospital registration or physician office operations experience required; nine to eleven years required when substituting experience for the degree.
• Working knowledge of payer regulations and governmental reimbursement requirements.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team management, prioritization, and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with on-site presence required based on operational needs and manager approval.
