A220 Direct Entry Captain

Location: United States; flight operations require physical presence and unrestricted travel to and from the United States.

What you will do

• Operate assigned A220 flights safely and on schedule under company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Assess aircraft airworthiness, weather, field conditions, navigational aids, fuel, and other operational factors before departure.
• Supervise assigned crewmembers and maintain proficiency in flight operations, procedures, and aircraft systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch regarding diversions, cancellations, rerouting, rescheduling, and other factors affecting the flight schedule.
• Ensure proper handling of passengers, baggage, cargo, load manifests, and passenger counts.
• Manage operational risk and perform additional flight officer duties as assigned.

Requirements

• FAA unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating.
• At least 23 years old at the time of hire, with a minimum of 3,000 fixed-wing flight hours.
• At least 2,000 total hours and 500 PIC hours in large Group II transport-category fixed-wing aircraft, plus 500 hours of US FAA Part 121 PIC time within the last three years.
• Actively flying during two of the past five years and maintaining training history in the Pilot Record Database.
• Current first-class FAA medical certificate, valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit, and a valid or obtainable US driver’s license and passport.
• US work authorization is required, along with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products.
