What you will do
- Develop architectural layouts, detailing, design information, contract documents, and specifications for data center projects.
- Manage design activities and coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and governing agencies.
- Lead design reviews, code-compliance discussions, site work sessions, and document coordination across disciplines.
- Perform QA/QC, technical reviews, and conflict resolution for architectural documents.
- Coordinate addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, incorporating approved changes into project documents.
- Provide construction contract administration support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Registered Architect with at least 5 years of experience, including recent experience with data center projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and design workflows.
- Experience preparing architectural contract documents and specifications, with strong knowledge of building regulations and codes.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and project scheduling tools.
- Strong written communication, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and graphic presentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, or 3-D Studio Max.
- Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper.
