Manager, ABF Fund Accounting

What you will do

• Maintain books and records for pooled private investment funds organized as limited partnerships and for separate accounts.
• Prepare and review complex management fee, income and expense allocation, and distribution waterfall calculations.
• Record and reconcile cash, investments, balance sheet accounts, purchases, sales, and complex corporate actions.
• Estimate and post accruals and prepare distributions and drawdowns.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and calculate partnership and investment performance metrics.
• Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, fund administrators, clients, and portfolio teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant accounting or audit experience in Big Four public accounting, investment management, or a combination of both.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations and account analysis.
• Excellent understanding of accounting and the ability to apply investment company accounting rules.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
