Software Engineer Team Lead (.NET/Azure)

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable fullstack applications using .NET, C#, and Blazor.
• Define and evolve frontend and backend architecture while balancing delivery speed, quality, complexity, and technical debt.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with automated build, test, release, and quality-gate workflows.
• Design and manage secure, reproducible Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
• Implement LaunchDarkly feature flags for progressive rollouts, experimentation, and safer deployments.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design stakeholders, and contribute to incident response and post-incident reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior architecture role.
• Strong .NET and C# experience, including ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and server-side application development.
• Hands-on experience with Blazor Server and/or WebAssembly.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services including App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Entra ID, and Key Vault.
• Experience with GitHub Actions CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code in Azure, feature flagging, progressive delivery, and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of SQL Server or Azure SQL and data access patterns including Entity Framework Core and Dapper.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service, or Azure Container Apps.
• Familiarity with Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or microservices.
• Azure certifications and experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Contributions to developer experience through internal tooling, templates, documentation, or onboarding.
