Financial Advisor in Training Intern

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the office and flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Base pay: $26.44 per hour, with potential variable compensation depending on the role.

What you will do

• Develop and deepen relationships with current clients by telephone.
• Make outbound client calls on behalf of financial advising teams.
• Schedule client appointments and shadow client meetings.
• Study to obtain FINRA SIE licensing.
• Build a personalized development plan and participate in training, classes, and corporate internship learning opportunities.
• Work closely with client experience teams and contribute to community activities.

Requirements

• Current junior at a four-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree; all majors are considered.
• Graduation expected in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Interest in personal finance, financial wellness, financial planning, or related fields.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate constructively with others and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Corporate undergraduate internships are not offered to students with F-1 visas.
