TL;DR
Principal IS Analyst-IT Security (Cybersecurity): Leading complex security incident investigations and response across endpoints, networks, cloud, identity, email, and applications with an accent on threat hunting, detection engineering, and SIEM optimization. Focus on identifying threat scope and root causes, developing response playbooks, improving detection controls, and mentoring security analysts.
Location: Hyderabad, India; work shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST

What you will do
- Lead complex security incident investigations and guide incident management through the full response lifecycle.
- Analyze threats across endpoints, networks, cloud, identity, email, and applications, identifying scope, business impact, and root causes.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting using threat intelligence and behavioral analytics.
- Improve SIEM, detection controls, monitoring use cases, alert quality, and security automation.
- Develop playbooks, procedures, investigation standards, and accurate investigation records.
- Collaborate with technology teams, mentor analysts, and drive continuous cyber-resilience improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Security Operations or related cybersecurity functions.
- Experience in incident response, threat hunting, detection engineering, and security monitoring.
- Advanced experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and XDR platforms.
- Expertise in networking, operating systems, identity, endpoint, and cloud security.
- Knowledge of detection rules, correlation logic, MITRE ATT&CK, threat intelligence, NIST, and CIS frameworks, plus strong investigative, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
