Cybersecurity IAM Engineer (Microsoft Entra ID)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID environments, including Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication, Identity Protection, and hybrid identity.
• Automate identity lifecycle management, provisioning, deprovisioning, SCIM integrations, and custom IAM workflows for business applications, cloud platforms, and HRIS systems.
• Govern privileged access through PIM, just-in-time access, least-privilege RBAC, entitlement management, access reviews, and dynamic group policies.
• Build and maintain Go backend services and React administrative interfaces for IAM provisioning and HRIS integrations.
• Manage Azure, AWS, and GCP identity security, Azure Container Apps controls, Terraform infrastructure as code, and GitHub Actions security pipelines.
• Monitor identity threats, support incident response, document security architecture and procedures, and advise Engineering, IT, Compliance, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including 2–3 years focused on Identity and Access Management.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, PIM, RBAC, application registrations, and AD Connect or Cloud Sync.
• Strong experience with Azure Container Apps or similar Azure container services, managed identities, secrets management, and Cosmos DB.
• Strong Go, React, REST API, JSON, XML, C#, Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions experience.
• Knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, FIDO2, Zero Trust architecture, and AI-driven security technologies including LLMs, MCP, and RAG.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship and sponsorship transfer are not available.

Nice to have

• Microsoft security certifications such as SC-300, AZ-500, or SC-100, or industry certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CIAM, Security+, or CySA+.
• Experience with Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, Workday RaaS, Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid7, PKI, and certificate-based authentication.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, PCI DSS, and multi-tenant Azure environments.
