Anti-Fraud Analyst, TikTok Shop - USDS

Location: Seattle, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

Salary: $91,200–$160,445 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Investigate and analyze fraudulent activity across the TikTok Shop e-commerce ecosystem using data analysis tools and database queries.
• Identify fraud trends, conduct root cause analyses, and document insights for policy, process, and product improvements.
• Build and maintain automated detection and enforcement rules, models, and risk control strategies.
• Develop key metrics to monitor fraud trends, enforcement accuracy, and progress.
• Create standard operating procedures for scaled manual operations and provide training on fraud detection and prevention.
• Coordinate with regional and cross-functional partners to improve controls and close fraud loopholes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in fraud and risk detection, enforcement, and investigations.
• Proficiency in MySQL or other querying languages.
• Strong ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Experience creating rules or models to automate fraud detection or enforcement.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, independence, and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating with regional and cross-functional partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM prompt engineering or LLM agent development.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
