Quality Control Technician Lead 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Thursday, 4:00pm–2:30am

What you will do

• Lead and motivate quality control teams supporting manufacturing operations.
• Recommend and implement improvements to quality processes and procedures.
• Monitor quality processes and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
• Train and mentor technicians, inspectors, production-line staff, and quality personnel.
• Facilitate problem solving and maintain standard quality practices across manufacturing processes.
• Record data, perform computations, analyze results, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of prior quality control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma, associate degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership ability and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong manufacturing knowledge, including 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and technical drawing interpretation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a production environment and regularly lift up to 50 pounds, with extended periods of walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
