Associate Director, Warehouse and Distribution

What you will do

• Develop and execute the Americas distribution and logistics strategy, including network design, warehouse footprint, inventory positioning, transportation modes, and distribution channels.
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory management, customs compliance, and distribution operations supporting North and South America.
• Improve customer delivery performance, OTIF results, shipment visibility, lead times, service levels, and overall customer experience.
• Own an approximately $30M logistics budget and deliver productivity, cost savings, working capital, KPI, forecasting, and long-range planning objectives.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, international trade, FDA, GMP, dangerous goods, controlled substance, and other applicable distribution requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15 logistics professionals while driving resilience, continuous improvement, digitalization, and change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations management, distribution, production operations, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with significant exposure to distribution, logistics, inventory management, materials management, production operations, and supply chain processes.
• At least 4 years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with ERP and computer-assisted business systems.
• Strong organizational, planning, communication, stakeholder management, and complex logistics network leadership skills.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers and transportation contracts.
• Lean, operational excellence, or continuous improvement experience.
• Knowledge of international trade compliance and customs regulations.
