Sr Manager, Programming Infrastructure & Analytics Enablement (R)

Location: Fully remote; can be performed from anywhere. Occasional travel for team meetings or events is expected.

Salary: $133,000–$173,000 annual

What you will do

• Build R-based tools that accelerate clinical analytics delivery.
• Develop automated processes, packages, utilities, macros, and solutions for clinical trial analysis and reporting.
• Evaluate, pilot, onboard, and optimize technologies, tools, and platforms for data analytics and visualization.
• Lead technical implementations, proof-of-concepts, and high-level solution architecture designs.
• Manage clinical trial data storage, archival, retrieval, reporting, integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead change management for system and tool upgrades while mentoring staff and supporting prioritization and resource management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in statistical programming and analytics within pharmaceutical or biotechnology clinical development.
• Strong proficiency in R and familiarity with the pharmaverse and tidyverse ecosystems.
• Working knowledge of CDISC standards, clinical trial data structures, and reusable programming utilities, macros, and packages.
• Experience with SAS, Python, R package development, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Working knowledge of Computer System Validation principles and GxP compliance requirements.
