What you will do
- Generate advertising revenue through agency outreach, cold calling, and prospect development.
- Grow revenue consistently and exceed assigned revenue goals.
- Build relationships with local businesses while maintaining existing accounts and developing new ones.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations explaining how advertising can promote client products and services.
- Provide advertising placement rates across available media.
- Develop advertising schedules and advertisements with clients and station personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
- At least one year of sales experience, preferably in media.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to meet them.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
