Data Analytics Quality Engineering Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing/Data Analytics): Leading supplier quality analytics and building data ecosystems for outsourced semiconductor manufacturing with an accent on data integrity, statistical modeling, and real-time visualization. Focus on developing ELT pipelines, automated validation, predictive analysis, and rapid detection of manufacturing variability across fab, assembly, and test processes.
Location: Shah Alam, Malaysia; onsite role with no remote work available

What you will do
- Lead and coach a small data analytics engineering team developing an analytics ecosystem.
- Work with outsourced foundry, assembly, and test subcontractors to establish internal databases and maintain ELT data pipelines.
- Implement automated testing, data validation scripts, and governance processes to ensure supplier data integrity.
- Build data models and transformations for interactive, real-time dashboards using tools such as Spotfire.
- Analyze manufacturing trends, defect rates, and process drift to support immediate corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Provide shift support and integrate analytics with upstream and downstream processes.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering with a semiconductor focus.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, product engineering, or driving manufacturing improvements.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and semiconductor products and processes, including fab, assembly, test, and post-test operations.
- Hands-on experience with 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with JMP, Minitab, Spotfire, or Power BI.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external functional groups.
Nice to have
- Experience or knowledge in data analytics or predictive analysis.
- Ability to influence teams and drive timely resolution of quality issues.
- Experience with AI, machine learning, digital twins, cloud computing, or edge computing.
