Staff Business Excellence Engineer (MedTech)

What you will do

• Plan and execute manufacturing process improvements focused on waste reduction, productivity, OEE, and quality.
• Lead the JJOS program, identify improvement opportunities, analyze data, and implement solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Create and update capacity models and develop monitoring and reporting systems for efficiency-based decisions.
• Lead projects and cross-functional teams while applying Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Define business cases, present results, benchmark processes, and communicate opportunities to management.
• Support manufacturing-site initiatives that improve Business Unit financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification; Lean certification is preferred.
• Strong process excellence, analytical, problem-solving, project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, product cost, standard cost, CapEx, production techniques, and financial aspects of the Business Unit.
• Familiarity with QSRs, ISO 13485, and quality and production methodologies including CFM, JIT, and TQM.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required. Ability to work in a multicultural environment and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Lean certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.
