What you will do

• Perform fundamental financial and credit analysis using public information, rating agency data, and external opinions.
• Recommend the suitability of notes and bonds for individual portfolios and commingled funds.
• Review, analyze, and document assigned issuers and industry sectors to meet regulatory requirements.
• Conduct special analyses, including valuation of nonmarketable debt securities, exchange offerings, and derivative credit risk.
• Screen managed portfolios for unrated and below-investment-grade security reviews.
• Collaborate with rating agencies, fixed income analysts, portfolio managers, and investment committees.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in fixed income securities or credit-related financial analysis.
• Knowledge of business and financial markets, industry sectors, financial and credit analysis, and accounting principles.
• Understanding of economic conditions, debt-servicing capacity, and legal matters related to debt instruments.
• Ability to interpret offering statements and legal documents and prepare analytical reports.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and computer skills.
