Tax Manager - Commercial

What you will do

• Manage multiple commercial tax engagements, including budgets, workflows, scheduling, and customer updates.
• Perform technical reviews of tax returns and research complex tax issues, recommending solutions with key stakeholders.
• Direct, coach, train, and provide performance feedback to tax team members.
• Build and maintain end-to-end customer relationships and support engagement economics.
• Generate new business through community involvement, networking, and professional events.
• Contribute to recruiting, developmental planning, and promotion-readiness assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a Master’s degree in Tax is preferred.
• 5+ years of recent accounting firm experience, including managing tax projects and customer engagements, directing staff, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Significant experience with all types of entity taxes.
• CPA certification required.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
• Travel of up to 15% may be required.
